Random thoughts.....

It is Monday and I have to work a full week. :(

Last GOC run-through tonight till like 10:00. I am tired already.

CONCERTS start this THURSDAY!! Wow! I am excited!

I love this time of year at the church. Such a great time to connect as a team!

Went to see Search the City last night with Moaty, Jonny, Tim, and Monica. Such fun!

My legs are aching.

I was reminded last night that Adam McMillion thanked me on the Search the City CD. I cant believe he included me in that section of the CD. That was so nice and made me feel good. They just got signed, btw! I am so happy for them. They are awesome! Hot too. :)

White Mocha is my favorite! Had it at Caribou yesterday....might even be better then Starbucks?!? Crazy.....I know.

December is very busy.

Home Sweet Home. I love my bed! Slept great Monday into Tuesday.....and then felt like I was in a minor coma yesterday....felt so drained and so tired. Finally coming out of it today. I have lots to do to unpack and get ready for tomorrow since Thanksgiving is at my house. I get to have my sweet baby Aaron over tonight to stay. The love of my life....that is what he is. :)

The conference was great!! LONG....but great. Loved Andy Stanley and Louie Giglio. Love the dramas....love the comedians. The music was amazing.....Desperation Band, Chris Tomlin, Third Day, Shane & Shane (LOVED them), LeeLand (LOVED them too), Family Force Five, Steve Fee and a cool celtic band. SO many great musicians and such great worship. I had a great time with Adam. He was my BFF for the weekend. haha. It was cool to have him to hang with. It was nice to get to know him better. The conference was different then I expected. I thought it would be more about learning how to serve and lead students....but it was more about growing as leaders. I went to some great break-outs too.....those were more "teaching" about the students then the general sessions. Bought a few CD's and got a lot of free books. I actually got to meet Louie, Shane and Shane, Steve Fee, LeeLand, and the two main guys from Desperation band. All very cool. Adam and I went to NorthPointe Community Chuch on Sunday. That is Andy Stanley's church. I was excited to get to see him teach....but when we got there....he wasnt teaching cause his wife was sick and had to go to the hospital. It was still a great message by a man named Duffy Robbins. Very funny and very good! We walked around after and saw the rest of the church. I loved it there. Such a great weekend. It was JAM PACKED but awesome. So many blessings in 4 days. Ready to be off for a few more days this weekend....I could get used to being away from work. GOC.....8 days!!! wow.........

Happy Thanksgiving! Give thanks to the Lord for He is Good.....His love endures FOREVER.

I am outta here! In a little more then 12 hours I will be waking up to begin my journey to the National Youth Workers Convention in Atlanta!!! I am so excited. Six of us will jump in the car and hit the road at 5 AM! I just know it will be great. I am so excited to hear Louie Giglio and Andy Stanley. I am so excited to see Desperation Band and all the other worship people. I am excited to take a road trip with this team. The only thing I wish was different is that I wish more of student ministries was going on this trip. :( I love being a part of RustProof and Velocity. I was able to do an Outreach project with RP last Saturday and it was a blast. I was in RP all weekend and went to Velocity after the FOREVER GOC practice Sunday night. haha. My weekend was so jam packed of students!!! And I tell ya, there is NOTHING better then that. They bring me such total JOY! From Jordan last week to Channnn on Sunday.....Trevor in the middle.....6 RP middle school girls serving....BMAC and Olivia.....Abby and Ferd.....Jesse, Zack, Matt, Travis and Dale.....Megan and Cali.....my Velocity 10th grade girls small group and a great hug from Luke.....just doesnt get any better. I know God has given them to me to love and lead and push and challenge. I am called to it and I love it. And this weekend will be all about challenging me and pushing me to lead and love better. They are worth it. I am FOREVER grateful for the Holy Spirit in me that leads me and guides my words to them. **Sarcasm included. hee-hee. I am also thankful for how they come to me and want the relationships they have with me. It comes easy and naturally and that is a GOD THING.

With the holidays approaching I will see less and less of the UnderGround and their sweet faces on the regular with all that is going on in Big Church....but there are good things to look forward to....Turkey Bowl and the New Years Eve all nighter.....and I know God will have their precious feet cross my path and their sweet hands send lots of texts. :)

This Thanksgiving, I give thanks for the students I get to love on and the friends that I have. For all that God has provided, continues to provide and will provide always. I am happy for the gift of Salvation that I have been given. I am thankful for my small group and for my family. For baby Aaron. I am thankful to use my gifts to serve the church as I have been privileged to do. I take none of it for granted. God gives and gives and gives.....He is the ultimate Teacher and Friend. Thank you Lord, thank you.

Random Thoughts....

So glad it is Friday. I get to sleep in tomorrow!

I am leading worship this weekend....such a privilege.

Mike Wagner is in my band this weekend and this Wednesday!! Praise God for special gifts.

The super LONG GOC practices start this Sunday. GOC is in 27 days.

I have a VERY busy week coming up. Singing in weekend service, Wednesday, EPIC and then have Rustproof next weekend. Have small group this week too and have PT practice Tuesday.

I am going to a Youth Conference here in a couple weeks. SO glad to get away and get some teaching and WORSHIP from some great artists. Along with a fun road trip with some good people.

A co-worker and friend lost her 27 year old son this week. Tough times here at work. Two other people that I knew from work died in the past 2 weeks. Life is precious.

Praying for the salvation of so many people.....my family.....a best friend's dad who is battling cancer.....Oh God have mercy. Keep knocking on their doors and help them to OPEN up.

Friendship should not be so hard. Why does it have to be so hard sometimes??

I am taking Aaron Daniel to see The Bee Movie today! I am so blessed that I got to see him and his sister the past 2 days.....and again today! YEAH! Halloween was a blast with them. :)

Going to see a students band play tonight. Well, unless I am too tired. :)

Praying for God to help make time with some people I MISS SOO MUCH that I havent had time with lately cause they are busy. There are just not enough hours in the day.

Got to talk to Stacey after what has been forever!!...her son is great....just praying that they get some much needed rest and relaxation. Miss her. Love her.

Lots of family time this week. That has been good. And much needed for myself.

Praying for a good day and good weekend. God is good. So good.
