So here goes....I decided to blog. I dont even know who will read this but I am going to go for it! I know a few people who will be happy. Add me to your friends list so I can add you to mine. This wont be long cause I am on lunch and I need to get back...but for the first one....I guess I will explain my blog name. I have come to LOVE butterflies in a special way this year. We had a communion service at NRC and they decorated the whole stage with a Spring scene. Big flowers and trees and all that kind of stuff. And on the two ends of the pod they had 2 big containers with "live" butterflies in them. The whole night was about how God makes all things new. Just what I needed to hear. And the part that hit home for me was that the catepillar is just the first stage for the butterfly to come. The whole process just meets me where I am. I feel like a catepillar a lot of the time...just scraping along the ground....taking whatever life throws at me....but God thinks different of me. He has me in this cocoon changing me into a beautiful butterfly. Sometimes it feels like I will be in here forever but because of His PROMISE to make ALL things new.....I know I will be flying in His perfect time.....just like all those amazing butterflies did at the end of the service. It was breathtaking. He does make all things new. Thank you Lord for teaching me to fly.
